A singer by the name of Candi Staton made a nice remake in 1970 of Tammy Wynette's hit, Stand By Your Man. It is a faster version, and I still love it.

Victory (Album Version)
Victory is a gospel song by Yolanda Adams. It was featured in the movie, The Gospel. It is a single from 2005, but I love it. I have never heard a gospel song like this one. I love the lyrics, the music, and the voice of Yolanda. According to Wikipedia, Yolanda earned a gospel award for the song in 2007.

Maggie Ingram tells her story about a Richmond Flood. With the Ingramettes, she sings her song:
It ain't nobody's fault but mine
Nobody's fault but mine
If I die and my soul is lost
Just ain't nobody's fault but mine.
I got a Bible to read
I got a Bible I can read
If I don't read it and my soul is lost
Just ain't nobody's fault but mine
It is said that Whitney Houston was once booed in the past, and that she never really touched the black audience. That may or may not be true. When Whitney first came into the spotlight with her first album, I do not know anyone that did not love her sound. However, music does change from time to time with different generations. After Whitney, people wanted to hear Lauryn Hill and Mary J. Blige. Read more:
Michael Jackson has a new song with Akon titled; “Hold My Hand”. It is a very nice song. It is just a simple song with feeling and a song that is understood.

The Federal Court is ordering LimeWire to shut down. If LimeWire continues, people will probably have to pay for the music they download or pay just to use the program.

God is Good by Regina Belle
Regina Belle was an R&B singer that sung songs like Make it like it was and if I Could. Now she is also giving her praise to God. My favorite Gospel song that she has made is God Is Good.
Could It Be I'm Falling in Love is a 1972 song made by the Spinners. 1972 is the year after I was born. Whenever I am riding down the highway, I have to turn the radio up to hear this song. There is just something about it that makes me want to listen and sing along. There is a remake to this song by singer David Grant and Jaki Graham in the 1980's. They have done a beautiful job because it is like listening to the original.
