Life and Song With the Spinners

One of the greatest blues songs in my life today is “I’ll Be Around” by the Spinners. I grew up watching my mother pray and worry about things when she had no help and no one to call on. When it seemed no one was around, God was around. The message from the song makes me think of him.

Jingle for Wordy MP3

Last year, I made up a jingle for my site, Wordy Mp3. I did not bother to add any music because I did not feel like going through the trouble of doing it. Pulling out equipment and trying to get things hooked up adds extra work. I would have to get my voice right with the music. The music would turn out very different from the music in my head. I go through all sorts of things when I add extra.

When I have no music, I feel so free to sing Acappella. If I had a professional band, they could join right in. Without music, I do not have to wait for anything. I can hear the music there, and I sing with what I hear within. Someday, I would like to get into music more when I have time. I love music, sound effects, and making up tunes. I need a small recording studio. Right now, for the Internet, I like to do things quick and easy by using a recorder.

Movies and 3D Technology

Everything seems to be going toward digital and 3d. According to Herald Tribune, Walt Disney has 15 three-dimensional movies in its pipeline. It is said that theaters are not ready for the technology. It sounds like the technology is very expensive. I don’t know how it is suppose to work for the screen. From what I have read, it sounds like theaters need 3D screens and there is not enough. However if the filmmakers use the technology, and if theaters are not ready for it, that doesn’t sound so great. How are they going to get their movies to be seen? The new movies with the technology might stand a chance in the IMAX theaters, and it might be a waste of time and money. If it is a success, going to the theaters may become more expensive.

I’m not so sure, but television ought to be ready for the technology with all of the HDTV upgrading and Blu-Ray disc. Everything is changing, and regular DVD’s may not be any good in the long run. The technology could bring great change. Theaters might shut down because of it and the internet. Who knows what it might lead to.
Here the mp3 and read the article about the technology and theaters here:
